Research & ConsultationIn 2006, I began to conduct anti-trafficking work in the United States, advocating for legislation, working with international survivors directly and serving as a consultant with both national and international organizations.
Since 2014, I shifted my focus to internal trafficking issues within the United States. Currently, I provide Participatory Action Research Consultation & Supervision to anti-trafficking programs. I am also the Lead Researcher and founder of William James College's Human Trafficking Community Research Hub (HTCRH). The HTCRH team is currently working on a mixed-method study in collaboration with a local non-profit on adult attachment patterns and challenges to exit trafficking. The research projects that I lead are focused on answering questions about practice and have the end goal of providing competent services to survivors of sexual exploitation. I believe that involving, collaborating, and partnering with individuals with lived experience when conducting research about human trafficking is crucial to generate actionable knowledge. I have trained extensively in participatory action research and skilled at leading research teams comprised of diverse people who represent different walks of life. My Linked In page can provide you with more examples about my work with groups. I also provide evaluation services to individuals who have experienced human trafficking and consult to attorneys working on cases that involve human trafficking. Please feel free to contact me if you have additional questions about my research and consultation services. |
If you have come here to help me you are wasting your time, but if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.
